我的志向

提示：

　　你未来的志向是什么？当总统？老师？科学家？还是航天员？请写一篇约 120 至 150 个单词（words）的英文作文，文分两段，第一段以 My ambition is to become a/an...someday. 为主题句，说明自己将来想成为什么样的人物以及原因；第二段则以 In order to be a/an..., I must... 开头并加以发展，说明自己该如何努力，才能达成抱负。

写作小栈

1. 主题句引导写作（guided writing）必须使用所指定的主题句（topic sentence）作为段落的开头，以主题句开头后，接着以下段落所有的句子都必须支持这个主题的指示方向进行，也就是思路的发展要符合主题句，如此才不会离题。

2. 依据提示的主题句，第一段重点在于说明自己的志向为何及其原因，第二段则要具体说明自己该如何努力以达成自己设定的目标。

构思方向

第一段：说出自己的志向以及原因，写作重点在于 what与 why，以 1 至 2 句描述自己的志向，接下来以 2 至 4 句说明自己为什么想从事这项工作。

第二段：说明自己该如何努力，写作重点在于 how，像是自己要好好努力、寻求他人帮助和如何精益求精等。

第二段引导句：  In order to be a cartoonist, I must practice diligently.

a.  I usually post my drawings on Facebook in hopes of getting some feedback from my friends or other cartoonists.

b.  By regularly participating in drawing contests, I can find out if my creations are appreciated or if I need to improve my skills.

第二段结论句：  With enthusiasm and persistence, I believe I can be a great cartoonist one day.

范文：

My ambition is to become a cartoonist someday. I've loved drawing since I was a child. When I grew up, I liked doodling in my notebook in class. People may see this as bad, but I try to draw what the teacher is lecturing, which actually helps me remember the material. Besides, director Wei Te-sheng was inspired by a comic book to shoot his movie, Seediq Bale, which strengthens my determination to be a cartoonist.

In order to be a cartoonist, I must practice diligently. After making a drawing, I post it on Facebook in the hope that my friends or other cartoonists can give me some feedback on my work and skills. In addition, I take part in drawing contests all the time. If I win, it means my creations are appreciated. If I lose, I study the winners' works and then sharpen my skills before I participate in the next contest. With enthusiasm and persistence, I believe I can be a great cartoonist one day.
