(LONDON, Reuters) Thieves who steal mobile phones may soon find them unusable.
Police plan on bombarding the phones with text messages.
The message says, “The phone you are using has been stolen; return it to the police.”
Mobile phones accounted for 35 percent of the 50,000 thefts of personal property last year.
