(KATHMANDU, Reuters) Erik Weihenmayer, a 32-year-old American, recently became the first blind person to scale the 29,000-foot high Mount Everest.
He moved a pair of long poles back and forth in front of him as he climbed.
On the same expedition, a 64-year-old U.S. doctor became the oldest person to climb Everest.
