格列佛游记——大人国游记-2

After a few weeks the queen heard of me and told a servant to bring me to the palace. We went there.

　　Then she asked me if I would live in the palace. Of course I agreed with her. So she gave a lot of money to the farmer. Glumdalclitch stayed with me as my nurse. The Queen made a new box for me, and inside there were two chairs, two tables, and a bed.

　　One day some wasps flew into my box because the window of my box was left open. They were as big as birds. I was very frightened. I drew my sword and fought against them. I killed four of them with my sword, and the others flew away.

　　Once, I was sitting on a lawn in front of the palace and it began to hail. The hailstones were as big as tennis balls. Some of them hit me and I fell to the ground. I had to stay in bed for ten days because I was very bruised.

　　I often dreamed about ships and sailing. One day I told the queen that I wanted a boat. So she told one of the carpenters to make a boat for me. He was very skillful and good at making boats.

　　He finished the boat in ten days. It had a sail and oars. He showed it to the queen. She was very pleased and said to him, "Please make a large tank for the boat." He made the tank and put it in a room in the palace.

　　Glumdalclitch lifted me up and put me in my little boat. Sometimes I put up my sail, and the queen waved her fan to make a breeze for me. After that Glumdalclitch always picked up my boat. She carried it to her room and hung it on a nail to dry.

　　One day, when I was sailing my boat in the tank, a huge frog jumped into my boat. The frog hopped up and down, and nearly overturned the boat. I do not like frogs. I hit the frog with one of my oars and it jumped back into the water.

　　One day as I was sitting in my box, I didn't notice the window was left open. Then a monkey looked in, got hold of my coat, and pulled me out of the box. It was as big as an elephant. It climbed up the drainpipe with me and sat on the roof of the palace.

　　Soon the men found us, fetched some ladders and climbed onto the palace roof.

　　The monkey was afraid of the men and it ran away. I had to stay up there alone for a while. One of the men picked me up and put me in his pocket. He took me down the ladder. I was very bruised, and had to stay in bed for two weeks.

　　One afternoon, when I was better, I played the spinet. The king and queen listened. But the spinet was too big for me to play. One of the servants put a bench in front of the spinet. I ran along the bench and banged the keys with a stick to play a tune.

　　几星期后，皇后听到有关我的事，便派一名仆人来带我进宫。我们就去了那里。

　　然后她问我是否要住在宫里。我当然同意。于是她给了农夫很多钱。葛兰朵克丽琪留下来当我的看护。女王为我做了一个新箱子，里面有两张椅子，两张桌子和一张床。

　　有一次我坐在皇宫前的草坪上时，突然下起了冰雹。冰雹和网球一样大。有些冰雹打中了我，我倒在地上。我必须躺在床上十天，因为我身上瘀青得很严重。

　　我常常梦到船只和航海。有一天我告诉皇后我想要一条船。于是她叫一个木匠为我造船。他技术精湛，擅于造船。

　　十天后他就把船造好了。船上有帆和桨。他将船拿给皇后看。她很高兴，便对他说，『请为这艘船做个大贮水池。』他做了个大贮水池，把它放在皇宫的一个房间内。

　　葛兰朵克丽琪将我捧起来放在我的小船内。有时候我升起帆，皇后挥动扇子替我制造微风。之后，葛兰朵克丽琪总是把船拿起来，带到她的房间，把船挂在钉子上晾干。

　　有一天我在水池内乘船时，一只大青蛙跳上我的船。它跳上跳下，几乎要把船弄翻。我不喜欢青蛙。我用一支桨打它，它就跳回水中。

　　有一天，我坐在我的箱子里时，没注意窗子是开着的。那时有一只猴子往里看，它抓住我的上衣，把我拉出箱子外面。那只猴子和大象一样大。它抓着我爬上排水管，坐在皇宫的屋顶上。

　　不久皇后属下发现了我，就搬梯子爬到皇宫屋顶上。

　　猴子很怕这些人，就逃走了。我必须独自待在那里一会儿。其中有个属下把我拿起来放在他的口袋里。他带着我爬下梯子。我身上有很多瘀伤，必须在床上躺两星期。

　　有天下午，我好了一点时，便弹奏钢琴。皇帝和皇后聆听着。但是钢琴太大了不适合我弹。有个侍从放了一张长凳在钢琴前。我沿着长凳跑，用棍子敲键盘弹奏出一首曲子。
