Writing It Down

记下来
Evan and Gertrude discuss the best way to drive to Denmark.
E:So, Gertrude, you think we should avoid Bremen and Hamburg altogether.
D:Ya. When you can drive through the countryside, you'll appreciate our beautiful German landscape much more. Cities are a dime a dozen.
E:Well, wouldn't it take much longer?
D:Longer? Ya. But it will be well worth the time. Mama told me she'll pack a lunch for you for tomorrow. You can stay at our inn tonight instead of looking for a motel in Bremen and have breakfast here, too!
E:That sounds convenient. Especially after I've had a couple of your delicious German beers!
D:Ya. Don't drink and drive, you know.
E:I know. Kathy here always reminds me. Your idea sounds good, but I'm afraid I would get lost.
D:Nein. Here, use this map. I'll draw the route for you. You should reach the Danish border by late afternoon if you leave tomorrow morning about nine o'clock.
E:This promises to be an adventure, but we're willing to try it!
