Dear Rick,
It was great to hear from you after all this time. Of course I remember you. How could I forget those crazy conversations we had during lunch, not to mention the English class.
So you went all the way to Asia after college. That sounds really interesting. I’ve never been to that part of the world. And you’re in school again! Haven’t you had enough? Just kidding. Actually, I’m jealous. I’d like to go to school again. School life is more carefree.
I have been working in a trading company ever since I graduated from the University of Notre Dame. I have worked my way up to a management position. I enjoy my work, but sometimes I’d really like to get away from it all.
If we can arrange a time, I’d love to meet you for dinner or something. Let me know if you’ve got any ideas.

你毕业后就大老远往亚洲去。那听起来满有趣的。我从未到过地球的那一端。现在你又回到学校念书!难道以前念的还不够吗?开个玩笑罢了。事实上,我满妒忌的。我也想再回到学校。校园生活比较无忧无虑。
我自圣母大学毕业后就在一家贸易公司工作。我靠着努力工作而升到行政管理的职位。我乐在工作中,但有时候真的想拋开这一切。
如果我们能约个时间,我很乐意与你见面吃个晚餐或什么的。如果你有什么想法就告诉我。
