Dear Gerald,
I’m glad to hear you’re doing so well. It’s hard to imagine you as a manager, but then I guess we’ve all changed a lot in the years since high school.
I’ve gotten in touch with a few of our ex-classmates over the past few weeks. I’ve contacted Ron Brown, Dawn Smith and Dave Lee, and everybody seems interested in getting together. If you can think of anyone else who is still in the area, invite them, too.
My idea is that we have dinner at TGI Friday’s on a Saturday night. April 17 or 22 are the best days for me. Is either of these dates okay with you, or do you have another suggestion?
Sincerely,
Rick
