Dear Joy,
It’s been several weeks since you’ve written me. Is there something wrong? I know you are very busy with schoolwork, but remember that you
promised to write me at least once a week. I miss you very much. My only consolation is your letters and phone calls. Sometimes I don’t know
how I can survive three more years like this. I still wish you hadn’t decided to go to America for college. Just remember that you promised you
would love me forever. Please write me soon.
