Dear Julie,
It sounds like you are enjoying yourself a lot in America. I’m jealous. I really hope I have the chance to go to the US someday, too. Maybe I can visit you sometime. Of course I should work on my English first, since it’s not as good as yours.
Have you found an apartment yet? Are there a lot of other Taiwanese studying there? What do you eat? There are a lot of things I am curious about. I hope you can write me again soon and tell me more about life there.

听起来你在美国好象是过得很愉快。我很嫉妒。我真的希望有一天我也有机会到美国。说不定我会找个时间去看你。当然，我得先加强我的英文，因为我的英文不像你的那么好。
你已经找到公寓了吗？有很多其它台湾人在那里念书吗？你吃什么呢？我对很多事情感到好奇。希望你能很快再写信给我并多多告诉我那里的生活状况。
